Friday,. March 21 was the start of our
year end tournament held in the Lucknow
and Winghaml arenas, Our 1'st game we
were matched up with Belgrave. The first
period remained scoreless, in the. third,
period we came out playing the way we'
knew we could' and scored 4•unanswered•
goals to Belgsrave 0.

• The second game on Saturday put us
up against Owen Sound. The game
remained scoreless until late in the second
period. Goalie Stephanie Blake did an
outstandingjob in net, The whole team'
put their hearts into this game and played
very welt. Westarted, running out of gas
in the third period when Owen Sound
scored 5 unanswered goals. Owen.. Sound
eventually went • to on. . to the
Championship game.
' Atom A's
The Atom A's were •eliminated from
the playoffs on Thursday, Mar. 20 in an
excellent game at the Sports Complex
losing 2 - 1 to Glencoe in a game that fea-
tured end to end action with lots of scor-
ing . opportunities ` Lucknow couldn't dent
the twine. Lucknow's lone goal came .off
the stick ,of Brad Gilchrist, As a coach 1'.
was very impressed with the way the
Atom's conducted themselves on and off
the ice and they should be proud of the
way' they represented Lucknow through-
out
hroughout the year. ,The boys have o'ne more
tournament remaining .in Schornburg on
Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 29 - 30.
Atom B2 Red Devils
The Red Devils opened their grand
, championshipround robin series. against
Wallace with a solid team effort to post a
4 - IJ win.. Adam Martin was., extremely
sharp in net `forthe local squad.

On March 22 the Red Devils met their
match, in the previously unbeaten
Belmore team. A back and fourth match
ended up with •Belmote handing. the Red
Devils their third loss of the year by a 6 -
5 score.

Adam Cameron had an excellent game
that had a, lot of end to 'end play in an
•exhibition game against Seaforth winning
the game 2 -1 for Lucknow. ' •

On March 20 the. Bantam B's played
against Kincardine winning this game 2 -
1 for Lucknow. By winning this round
robin playoff game, we won our group
division and go on to play a series against
either Walkerton or Hanover. • .

Lucknow Lancers travelled to Dundalk
on Saturday playing • the second 'game in
the series with Adam Skillen in net.
