returned home last week
after spending two weeks
in, .HIaiti.working with Men
for Missions. The first
Week he spent helping to
deliver hospital beds,
pumps, school supplies
and baby layettes from a
container they had taken
with them.. The second
week they were installing
some of the pumps and
helping with- some coo-
struction work.,
Jean, Ruth and Murray
spent the time: visiting
with friends in Lakeland,
Florida. When Ian came
back to Florida. he. founa •
the weather 'cool at 75 ;
degrees after working in.

It was a community. celebration 'last Friday night as a large crowdgath-
ered at the Legion to pay *tribute to Sam Mayer (right), Lucknow's gold
and silver Olympian at the. World Special Olympics It was an evening' of
laughter and tears of joy as a long, list of service clubs, businesses and
local politicians paid tributeand, made presentations to the young lady •
and her mother, Joanne. Sam's .brother BJ was a little camera. shy..

tors, and a Social visit: waas
