Auxiliary to'Winter Sports
is looking for Help. New
parent volunteers,, men
and women, are needed to
serve as team captains and
on the Auxiliary •execu
tivo. These are the people
who organize the workers
in•the arena food booth.
During the 1995196"
winter season, thebooth
realized a profit of approx-
imately $.10,000. With. this
money we sponsored chit-
dren to take part in a refer-
ee clinic, boughtteam.
sweaters, supplied first"aid
Idts and.medical supplies,
helped with the.cost of the
Minor Hockey-Bangquet.
and donated money to the
Skating. Club. These are

just a few of the expense
the booth helps pay for,.
Five thousand dollars
was also given to the Joint
Recreation Board with
their promise to . keep the
registration costs of hock-
ey and figure skating ata
minimum.. '
By working together,. we
,can . help .keepwinter
sports affordable for every
child. In order for this to
continue new ideas and
new- , people need to
become active in the oper-
ation of the booth.

courts you are crazy/unfit,mother" etc, deprivation and forced sexual ftetivity'aa well
as` physical abuse. through this project, we hope to ensure that Women's douse main-
tains the services that are most impoRant to women in our community and to devel-
op ways to increase women's awareness of our services. ' •
