Loree This past weekend members, of the LucknoW Guides and 'Pathfinders held their winter camping trip. .They weren't as brave as the Scouts had been the previous week- end as eekend'.as they built their own snow forts to stay in up near Owen Sound. The girls 'camped in the ;Kinloss Municipal build- ing. at Holyrood, The Sunday School teachers and students. were in charge of the lunch in the. Lucknow Presbyterian Church ,on. Sunday following the morning service and prior to the annual meeting. In the United Church the new stewards and elders were inducted for. the corning year The funeral hone was once again•a busy place with two funerals on Tuesday. Services were' held for Jennette. (Moffat) Ross, formerly of Culross, wife of David Ross of the Langside area and for Gertie Walden, 'a resident of Pinecrest Manor and mother, of Glen Walden. Sympathy is extended to these fami- lies ,as they mourn the lossof'their loved ones. Wouldn't it be some- thing if Wiarton Willie ° was right and we had. an -early spring? In her last year of exhibiting, she had 72 arti- cles on display, Lou was a special person and will be missed by many.
