Maria Hill passed away in Brucelea Haven
Nursing Home, Walkerton on November 16,
1983 in her 86th year.
She was the former Maria Long, daughter
of Alexander Long and Grace Rose of
Ashfield Township.
She was predeceased by her husband,
Ralph in 1974. They had farmed at Purple
Grove until their retirement to Lucknow.
Besides her parents she was predeceased
by two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by two nieces, Grace
Evans of Vancouver and Jean Tolle of
Hawaii and a nephew, James Quigley of
London.
The funeral service was held at MacKen-
zie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow
on November 18, 1983 with Rev. A. Ramsay
officiating.

Cemetery, Lucknow.
Beverley Temple Sangster
Beverley Temple Sangster, a retired post
office inspector, died on Sunday, December
11, 1983 at True Davidson Acres, Davies
Road, Toronto, in his 97th year. Beloved
husband of Bessie Graham; dear father of
Allan and the late John Sangster. Grand-
father of Huw, Becky and Andrew. The
funeral was held at the Humphrey Funeral
Home, A. W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview
Avenue, Toronto on Wednesday, December
14, 1983 at 2.30 p.m. Interment at South
Kinloss Cemetery, Lucknow, Ontario. Those
attending the funeral from Lucknow were
Bessie Sangster's brother, Douglas Graham;
Mr. and Mrs. Evan Keith and Mrs. Chester
Hackett.

them a pleasant surprise.
Mrs. Frank Maulden, treasurer, reports
the Bible Society canvass from this district
amounted to $467.75. The society apprec-
iates canvassers and contributors for this
nice amount.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom McDonald visited on
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thompson
and .they all attended the carol service
Sunday evening at the Teeswater United
Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon MacDonald and
family of Orangeville visited with his parents
here on the weekend.
