Get well wishes are extended to two residents of the village. Leroy Rintoul and Don Taylor have been hospitalized for several days. With snow flurries over the weekend and also forecast for the remainder of the week it looks as though we'll have a white Christmas. Temperatures soared to 13 degrees C (54 degrees F) at this time last year. The community would like to congratulate the young Coiling couple on their recent marriage and welcome them to the area. They have moved into the late Florence MacKenzie home at Lochalsh. Glenn Robb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Robb, had the misfortune to break his knee cap about a week ago while playing hockey in Lucknow. It is reported that Glenn will be sporting a cast for about six weeks. We hope Glenn will soon be on the ice again. Charles and Mayme Wilkins were in Toronto the first of the week to attend the annual Co-op meeting which was held at the Royal York Hotel this year.
