It was the last day of fall. He sneaked through the sunroof in the top of the building. He hid behind a corner and over- heard three Cobras talking The Missing Turkeys! One time at Garfield's house John had left Garfield and Odie alone while he went shopping. When he got home he found Garfield had made a mess. So Garfield had to sleep outside that night. The next day John found turkey bones. So he had to buy another turkey. For the next five nights the turkeys disappeared. So he bought a burglar alarm and put it on the fridge. At 12.00 a.m. he heard the alarm! When he got there, there was Garfield, chomp- ing on the turkey. Carl MacDonald, grade 5 Kinloss Central The First Christmas Long ago, there were two people - a man and a woman. They were travelling by donkey. The lady, Mary, was pregnant. Joseph, the man, was Mary's husband. They finally came to a town named Bethlehem. When they got there they saw an inn. The owner said it was full and he said they could sleep in his stable, so they settled down with the animals. Mary had a baby named Jesus. That is the story of the first Christmas. Brad Rhody, grade 4 Kinloss Central A Garfield Christmas Garfield and John went to the shopping mall for Christ- mas. And Santa was there so Garfield went and sat on his lap. Santa asked Garfield what he wanted for Christ- mas. Garfield said, "NI have twenty lasagnas and a pack of bubble gum in my stock- ing.'. Christmas Eve was finally here so he had a good night's sleep and woke up in the morning, and found only twelve lasagnas. He became very angry. Soon Garfield found a. note on the table that said, "Sorry, Garfield we ran out of tomato sauce!" signed Santa. Peter Reavie, grade 5 Kinloss Central Mr. and Mrs. Littlebug's Christmas On Christmas eve in the year two thousand Mr. and Mrs. Littlebug were making rock soup for Christmas Day. Christmas Day came and Santa still was not there. So the Littlebug family went to the Bigbug family to see if he was there. There was nobody home. The phone rang two times. Ring! Ring! Mr. Littlebug picked it up. "Hello, Mr. Littlebug, this is Mrs. Claus. Santa is sick today and he can't deliver the gifts so he wondered if you could deliver the gifts. "Yes when do I start?" "You can start now." replied Mrs. Claus. Dennis Johnston, grade 5 Kinloss Central about the secret building at the North Pole, where they had hidden the kidnapped Santa. Clutch went back and told the gang that he knew where Cobra's secret base was. So the G.I. Joe team got into the Vamps and started for the airport. There the Sky - striker was waiting for Air- borne. In the air they met a Cobra plane and Airborne fired and it hit the wing and it went down and blew up. They were getting closer and closer to the North Pole. Garfeld's Christmas It was the night before Christmas and Garfield was prowling around the neigh- bourhood. Garfield smelled lasagna coming from a win- dow but Garfield couldn't find the window that it was coming from He was getting hungrier every minute from smelling the lasagna. Finally he found the win- dow that it was coming from so Garfield hopped up on the window sill and he saw a big pot of lasagna. He was going to have some but someone came and took the pot of lasagna into another room so Garfield followed it to the room too and there was Santa Claus. He was putting presents under the Christmas tree so Garfield went up to Santa and Santa Claus gave Gar- field a present. Guess what it was! It was a pot of lasagna! Sherri Nichols, grade 4 Kinloss Central School Santa Claus At Work Shop One day Santa Claus and the elves were working in the work shop and they were working on a motor and Santa Claus got his hands stuck in the motor. The elves helped Santa Claus and Santa Claus was happy to get out. Santa Claus and the rein- deer flew up on a house and Santa Claus went to climb my house and his bum got on fire and he was crying his head off. We climbed the roof and I helped Santa Claus and Santa took us on a ride in his sleigh and we had fun. Kevin Binder, grade 3 Kinloss Central Garfeld'S Christmas It was Christmas Eve and Garfield was sleeping. Then something was looking down at him. Oh it's just the Christmas tree. But some- thing was bright on it. Garfield climbed the tree to one of the lights. They fell! John came rushing out with Odie. "Oh, hi John, " said Gar- field. "Why were you on the tree?" asked John. Garfield just meowed and went to bed. Next morning it was Christmas. Garfield woke John up at 7.00 a.m. Do you know what Garfield got? Two balls and a dish. Garfield didn't like it. Then the next morning - guess what! He had a big parcel in front of him. He opened it and there was a new bed. And he really liked it. So Garfield thought it was the best Christmas ever. Angela freckles, grade 4 Kinloss Central When1they got there, Clutch told them where the base was. When they got there, they tied up the guards and got Santa back to the toy shop. Meanwhile they attacked the Cobras until there were- n't any more left. Then Airborne took off to G.I. Joe headquarters. Nathaniel Wolfe, grade 4 Kinloss Central Twinkle Gets Lost It was almost Christmas and the elves had the day off. Twinkle, one of the elves was very weary. He was just going to lie down when he thought of something. He had left his hat in the workshop. He started to head towards the workshop which was quite a ways from his house. Then all of a sudden a great blizzard came up. Twinkle thought he would be able to reach the work- shop when a wind blew him off course. Then Twinkle fell down in the snow. He was scared and cried himself to sleep. When he woke up he couldn't see any of the houses. He started to wander when he saw a red light far ahead. Twinkle started to- wards the light! Then he heard sleigh bells. He got excited! All of a sudden he could see the reindeer and Santa. Later when they were back at Santa's house he told them of his adventures and they all said they were glad to have him back. Marianne Rhody, grade 5 Kinloss Central Santa is Getting Tired One day Santa was work- ing in the work shop. And all the elves wanted to make race tracks. And I told them that we had enough. Then they started throw- ing tuys at Santa. Then Santa had to go out. And Rudolph stopped the elves. Rudolph turned on the heat. And the elves had to stop throwing toys. Then Santa let Rudolph guide the sleigh, because he saved the work shop.
