See the difference before you turn
it on. The picture tube is blue instead
of grey. We call it Blue Optie and it makes a remarkable difference.
Howitworks
Ordinary picture tubes reflect room light, reducing picture contrast and
color intensity. Colors are washed out and faded.
The faceplate of the Blue Optics tube is
specially treated to absorb room light.
Phosphors in the Blue Optic,) tube have
been meticulously re -engineered to exactly
match the transmission characteristics of
the Blue Optic® screen, and can expand
the color reproduction range by 15%-40%.
Blue Optic
absorbs most ambient light.
Blue 4tk® kseps it all in locus
Our multi -step focus electron gun generates three precisely aligned
beams which are directed to the screen by four separate lenses.
Some tubes have only two
_s L. % lenses and can have focus prob-
lems. Ours produces a 30%
smaller spot size for sharper
focus. The result is a picture so
consistently crisp and real—it's
almost three dimensional.
