Chatlene Henry, of Anne's Beauty Centre, was introduc- ed by the leader, Donna Hayden, She answeted ques- tions about bait care, cover- ing brushing, shampooing, curling and blew drying. She demonstrated cutting hair and French braiding. The club membets really apprec- iated her visit, Matcia soak ptesided for the business which included pledge, minutes, tall call and suggestions for record books. They discussed shopping tips for consumers. Members participated in various hait care activities using cutting itons and blow dtyets. Mts. ffieman then tro duced the guest speaker, Connie Jamieson of the Jack Reavie Vocational Centre in Winghar, telling of the changes at the centre and the ttaining offered the clients. Pts. Hardy thanked the speaker and presented het with a gift. Mts. E. Robinson took over for the business. The meeting in North Street on October 4 catering fat • a wedding were discussed. The bride is the daughter of William and Betty Helesic of Goderich and the groom's parents are John and Mary Maize of Dungannon. Bridesmaids were Judi Torrance of London and San- dy Dickson of Port Albert, both friends of the bride and Donna Maize of St. Augustine sister of the groom, They were gowned Identically to the maid of honour and carried the same flowers, Junior bridestnaid was Kathy Rodger, cousin of the bride, She was gowned similarly in mulberry crystalette and carried a small bouquet identical to the bridesmaids, Groomsman was Paul Doherty of Port Albert, cousin of the groom, Guests were ushered into the church by Paul Helesic of Lihdsay, brother of the bride, Ron Maize of Dungan- non, brother of the groom and Bob Westlake of Uoderich, friend of the groom, Ringbearer was Christopher Maize, brother of the groom. The groom and ringbearer were attired identically in champagne Claridge tux- edos with ivory squire shirts. Following the wedding, a lovely social time was held at the home of the bride's parents, Pink impatiens and pink and wine petunias accented the landscaping for this special occasion, A reception was held at the Lucknow Community Cen- tre. The bride's mother receiv- ed guests wearing a long gown of salmon French crepe with a corsage of salmon rose buds and baby's breath, The grooms mother assisted, wearing a floor- length gown of romantic blue polyester and a corsage of baby blue roses and baby's breath, Both fathers were attired in brown Devon tuxedos, Guests attended the wed- ding from Brampton, Bellville, Willowdale, Hramalea, Windsor, Rich- mond Hill, Surrey 13.C. and surrounding area, A con- gratulations telegram was sent by a dear friend from Australia. Following the rehearsal, the grooms parents enter- tained at their home with a lovely lunch. For a wedding trip to Negil Beach, Jamaica, the bride changed into a teal blue and cream polyester .knit dress with cream accessories, and the groom to a leisure suit of soft beige tones, Prior to the bride's mar- riage, she was feted with a family shower given by her Grandmother, Phyllis Rodger.
