Couple from, Germany visits with son at Trinity

Mr, and Mrs. Grombachh
of Kornwesthelm, Germany,
are visiting with their son,
Manfred and Joan Dierolf,
and George, and other rela-
tives in this area for two
weeks,
Chris Irwin, son of Bob
and Blaine Irwin: Glen Gib-
son, son of Allan and Nancy
Gibson: Duncan Simpson,
son of Lillian Simpson, and
Fred Durnin, son of Mike
and Betty Lou Dalton have
returned home from the
Tillsonburg area, where they
were picking tobacco for the
season.
Last week on Monday, Rob
Markham found a helium
balloon outside their home. It
was from Amy Campbell of
Evart, Michigan. Itob is
working at Hellview Fruit
Farm, Goderich Township.
John Barger, son of Allan
and Marie Barger, has re-
turned to Seneca College in
Toronto, for his second year
of a figure skating coaching
course. John worked for Dr.
H. R. Cieslar Farms at
Lucknow this past summer,
Diane Gibson, daughter of
Allan and Nancy Gibson is
attending Brescia College, at
University of Western Ont-
ario, taking Administrative
Office Management. Diane
worked this summer part
time with the Agri -Crew and
with Buffys Burger Har.
We send get well wishes to
George Alton who is a
patient at Wingham and
District Hospital.
Chris Markham, son of
Bob and Irene Markham has
returned to Fanshawe Col-
lege, London to continue his
course, Market Analysing,
Chris worked for the summer
at the Hayfield Nursery and
Landscaping,
Patty Barger, daughter of
Allan and Marie Barger is
attending Centennial Col-
lege, Toronto, studying to
become a Registered Nurse.
Patty worked for the summer
at the Wingham Pool.
Get well wishes go out to
Isaac and Della Nixon who
are both patients at Wing -
ham and District Hospital.
Michael McCann, son of
Phil and Gerry McCann is
attending Rldgetown College
of Agricultural Technology,
Michael worked this summer
as a counsellor at Camp
Hallburton,
Gail Kemp is employed at
F. E. Madill Secondary
School hi the office as sec-
retary to the principal, Gall
has been at the school for the
summer and will continue
part time, Glen and Gail are
children of Gordon and Bern-
ice Kemp,
Kin10-Kahhea institute tours Pine River Cheese.
The Kinloss-Kairshea
Women's Institute met for a
Keir of the Pine River Cheese
Factory, September 22, to
start their Aviculture and -
Canadian i ustries meet.
Ing,
Mrs, Barb Farrell gave the
ladies a good explanation of
the operation of the different
equipment and then showed
an excellent film on the
making of cheese from the
cow to the finished product.
Slides of the fire at their old
plant and the building of the
new plant, as well as a com-
mentary on the History of the
Pine River Cheese Factory
were included in the film,
In 1985 Pine River Cheese
will have been in business
100 years, It is a Coop run
by 35 farmers from which the
directors are taken, The
ladies were given rice wafers
and a sample of cheese, They
then browsed through the
new store, many buying
cheese or souvenirs.
The ladies then met at
Kairshea Hall to continue the
meeting, The president,
Mrs. Leonard Clarke wel-
corned all and gave a read-
ing, Tomorrow. The scrip-
ture was read by Mrs. Lloyd
MacDougall. The secretary-
treasurer, Mrs, Donald Mac-
lntyre read the minutes and
correspondence hi which was
included an invitation to join
the Lucknow Junior Institute
at their October meeting,
It was decided to buy the
ice cream for the Brucelea
Haven's October birthday
party. A motion to buy Mrs,
Noblitt's book on "Child
Laws" was passed. It will be
kept in the Kairshea Institute
for one year, then placed in
the Lucknow library.
Mrs. Brian Doelman and
Mrs, Mink Hartemink are
the delegates to the Bruce
County Rally in Kincardine
in October, Leaders, Mrs,
Harold Howald and Mrs,
Brian Doelman were named
to take the rug braiding
course this fall, They in turn
will teach the ladies this old

AND WHEREAS pursuant to the MUNICIPAL ACT, A.S.O. 1010, Chapter 302, Section 201 and amendments
thereto, the Council of the municipality may pass bylaws authorizing the stopping up of any highway or part of
• highway and authorizing the sale of a stopped up highway or part of a highway,
AND WHEREAS the portion of Alton Street to be closed and sold has boon uno}sned.
