Boating accident kills man

He was
the husband of the late Kath-
leen Terriff. He is survived
by Donna (Mrs. William
Langton) of Trenton, and
Ruthanne Cox of Brandon,
Manitoba; brother Peard of
Farmington, Michigan, Earl
of Downsview and grand-
children, Richard, Cathy and
Jeff of Trenton.
He was minister at United
Churches at Matheson, Con-
iston, Fonthill, Oakland, Wil-
sonville, Elton, Dresden and
Paisley.
Funeral service was at
Thompson Mott Funeral
Home, Waterford, with bur-
ial at Wilsonville Cemetery.
The family was well known
here as they spent most of
their summer holidays with
relatives in this community.
Roy James of Woodstock
suddenly drowned in a boat-
ing accident at Long Point
Bay on Sunday, August 21.
He leaves to mourn his

gary, Rick of Prince Rupert,
Christine of Toronto, Mrs.
Dean Holman, Sandra and
Colleen at home, his mother,
Mrs. Ruth James and his
brother Leonard James of
London.
A funeral service was held
at New St, Paul's Anglican
Church on Saturday.
Interment was in Mem-
orial Park Cemetery.
Roy grew up to a teenager
in this little village of White-
church where he is remem-
bered by many who wish to
extend their sympathy.

day and Sunday on tours on
the Cheechimaun.

were married in Kincardine
on Saturday with reception in
the Lucknow Community
Centre. Randy and Laurie
will reside on the fourth
concession of Kinloss.
Linda McQuillin of Wil-
lowdale, Mrs. Gordon Mc-
Quillin of Sarnia, and Mrs.
Hicks of Kincardine were
visitors with Mr. and Mrs.
Dick McQuillin, Ron and
Jack. Also visiting were Mr.
and Mrs. Doug MacLeod,
Dawn and friend Kim of
Vanastra.
Phyllis Wallace, Susan and
Nancy of London, Mrs, Anne
Prichard of North Hay, Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Prince and
Gregory of Toronto, Mr. and

Philip Steer, They attended
Beverly and Nic's wedding
on Friday night.
Mrs. Willoughby is stay-
ing to holiday for about a
