Pitching for Whitechurch were Rena Fisher, Clara Irwin and Bev- erley Bell. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Uuldriks spent Tuesday with friends in Kitchener. On Tuesday Alan Falconer had his driveway black top- ped. Lois Falconer of Sebring- ville spent a few days last week with Cassie Mowbray. Mark Schneller spent a few days holidays with his aunt and uncle at Teeswater. Donnie Irwin is now work- ing for Neil Vincent. Debbie Edgar of Wingham visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Schneller and family. Many from here attended the funeral on Wednesday of the late Charles McQuillin. Mrs. Walter Moore and Cindy held a successful garage sale on highway 86 last Friday. Jack Webb of Calgary called on Victor Emerson Friday. Kevin Beecroft of Wing - ham is holidaying with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Beecroft. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hertel of Kitchener, Ken Sinnamon and grand- daughter, Rose Marie Nobel of Stratford visited with Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Beecroft and all attended the family picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Wilken and family at Ripley. On Sunday Martin Bann of the Gideon Bible Society of Walton had charge of the United Church service. Mr. and Mrs. Clare Brown of Minden visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Russel Chapman. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Chapman visited on Sunday with Ross Smith of Russel - dale. Mr. and Mrs. Relison Fal- coner of Sarnia spent the weekend with his mother, Cassie Mowbray and on Sunday all attended the McInnes -Falconer reunion at John Dan McInnes' home in Wingham, July 10. Officers are president, Arnold Fal- coner; vice president, Joe Falconer; second vice presid- ent, Dan McInnes; secretary treasurer, Shirley Snowden of Goderich. Mrs. Dan McIn- nes of Blyth had the family history book finished and had copies for the group. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon since the funeral of her brother, Charles Mc- Quillin were Marilyn Mur- ray, Hamilton; Jean McQuil- lin, Hamilton; George Mc- Quillin, Toronto and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gaunt, Jennifer and Graeme of Chatham Mr. and Mrs. George Lubbers, Karen, Brian, Den- nis and Richard spent the weekend camping at Donny- brook by the Maitland River. Mr. and Mrs. John de Boer last week attended a wedding at Woodsville and for a few days toured around Huntsville and Peterbor- ough. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Nichol- son, Erin and Ryan of Strath- roy visited on the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John de Boer. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Laid- law, Kim and Janet spent the weekend at their trailer at Kincardine. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reed of Goderich were callers on Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Rintoul. We are sorry to report that Ralph Cameron of Lucknow was entered as a patient at Wingham Hospital, on Mon- day. This community wishes him a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Jim McIn- tyre of Vermillion Lake spent the weekend with Mary Mc- Clenaghan and Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClenaghan. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mc- Clenaghan spent the week- end with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Des Roches and attended the Mohawk Jam- boree at Dorchester where they met Mr. and Mrs. Doug Baird of Cayuga. Sadie Barbour of Wing - ham spent the weekend with Mary McClenaghan and Eil- een Parker spent Sunday with Mrs. McClenaghan and Mrs. Barbour. Attending were Mrs. Neil Rintoul, Mrs. Gutoskie and Michelle, Mrs. Leonard Robinson, Tracey and Tim, Mrs. Bill Rintoul and Mrs. Mack Cardiff. On Friday Mrs. Neil Rin- toul, Steven, Scott and Stu- art, Mrs. Cardiff of Brussels and Mrs. Bill Rintoul were in London where Steven visited a dentist. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Hend- erson of Brucefield visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Webster. Mr. and Mrs. George Webster on Saturday attend- ed the Chamney-Hamilton wedding in Ashfield at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hamil- ton. The wedding was held on the lawn. Dr. J. C. McKim and his daughter, Lori played the bagpipes. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ross on Sunday took his mother from Brucefield to visit his father, Seldon Ross at University Hospital.
