District.
The municipal High School
District came into being
January 1, 1951. The board
planned to build a new school
since facilities in the former
school were no longer ade-
quate for an expanded pro-
gram.
The modern school was
completed for school opening
September, 1953. The school
offered a furl academic
course as well as instruction
in commercial work, indust-
rial arts and home econom-
ics.
