Nancy Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Don Thompson of Lucknow graduated on
June 17, 1983 from the Professional Secret-
arial
ecret .arial Program at Fanshawe College in
London. Attending the graduation cere-
monies were her parents and her sister,
Donalda Thompson. Nancy's third year at
Fanshawe College was in the form of a Co-op
program with William M. Mercer Limited, a
.o Consulting Actuary Firm in London, where
she now has permanent employment.
Robert Harman graduated in May from
Radio College of Canada with his degree in
Electronic Technology. He is presently
employed with Northern Telecom In Brama-
lea. Robert is the son of Ken and Eleanor
Harman of Lucknow.
Tour Pine River Cheese factory
Twenty-two members of
the Lucknow Women's In-
stitute enjoyed a day out on
Tuesday, June 21.
A guided tour through the
new Pine River Cheese Fac-
tory was much enjoyed in the
morning. This was followed
with a bountiful pot luck
dinner.
Mrs. Bill Campbell wel-
comed all to her daughter's
cottage after dinner, the
ladies enjoyed contests and
bingo which was in charge of
the committee, Mary Mac-
Gillivrav, Beth Ritchie and
Grace Gibson.
Plans were made for an-
other outing to Clinton and
Blyth on July 22, Mrs. Cyril
Brown and Mrs. George
Whitby are in charge of that
outing.
