Shower Carol Buchmeier

A community shower was
held at the Karishea hall on
Saturday afternoon in honour
of Carol Buchmeier.
Mrs. Bill Moffat opened
the program. Mrs. "1 -ed Col -
Iver said a few words to Carol
and welcomed her into the
clan.
Marotta MacDougall fav-
oured with a piano solo.
Mrs. Jack Mali and Mrs.
David MacKinnon both had
contests. Mrs. Koen Van
Dijk gave a reading, Hus-
band. Carol and her attend-
ants, Bonnie Clarke and
Anne Simpson, were called
to the front with Mrs. Jack
Needham playing, Here
Comes the Bride.
After opening the gifts,
Carol expressed her apprec-
iation and a delicious lunch
was served.
Mrs. Allan MacDougall
made corsages for the bride
and the two mothers.
Holidaying with their aunt
and uncle, Mr. and Mrs.
Donald Maclntyre and family
are Michael, Scott and Mel-
anie Bannerman of Kincar-
dine.

at the home of Nancy Mac-
lntyre last Monday evening
for the neighbours in honour
of Agnes Thomson who is
moving south of Goderich.
After Agnes opened her
gifts, lunch was served.
