Doug and Shirley Mac- Donald and family attended the MacDonald - Liddle wed- ding in Ripley on Saturday. Margaret MacDonald of Ot- tawa is visiting with relatives here for a few days. Howard stayed for a few days. Catherine Scott visited with Harvey and Elizabeth Nicholson and boys on Sun- day. Gertie Walsh visited with Catherine on Saturday. Don and Marilyn Reid at- tended the MacDonald - Carter wedding in Kinlough on Saturday. On Sunday, the Reid's visited with Don's parents in Lucknow. Wilda Parker, Jack and Julia Parker also visited at the same time. Congratulations are ex- tended to Mary Helen Mac- Donald and Steven Carter who were married on Satur- day. Norval and Isabel Stanley spent the weekend at their cottage. Sunday visitors with. them were Betty and Art Helm, Kelly and Jorey, Morley and Deanna Scott and Adeline Martyn. Don Forster, Frances Boyle, Don and Dick McCosh attended the opening in Hamilton on Tuesday of the new Canola Crushing Plant. Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Irene Colwell. Happy Birthday to Todd Thompson who was nine on Saturday, and to Sheena MacDonald who turned 10 on Sunday. Congratulations to Harvey and Wilda Thompson on their 40th wedding anniver- sary. They were treated to supper at Dunkeld on Satur- day evening by Donna and Fred Young of Dungannon. On Sunday, Bob and Judy Thompson took them out to supper in Kincardine. Kim MacDonald, 'Tim- mins, has remained with her grandparents for a three week vacation while the rest of her family has returned home. Don and Anne McCosh at- tended the Orr picnic in Ar- thur on Sunday. The Purple Grove Bible Study met at the home of Bette McLeod on Tuesday.
