Fellou?ship group enjoy barbeque

Mrs. Clifford Young and
William of Teeswater, visited
recently with her brother,
Reg and Freda Broome.
Ken and Ruth Alton and
family held a beef barbecue
at their home on Sunday
evening, as part of the Adult
Fellowship group. This was
also the first event for the
VIM project, to raise new
monies for the United
Church of Canada.
Congratulations to Mrs.
Donaldson of Harriston, and
formerly of Lanes Store, who
celebrated her 80th birthday,
at an open house on Sunday
afternoon, June 12. Friends
from this area who attended
were Andrew and Donalda
Ritchie, Peter and Margaret
MacDonald, Beth Ritchie,
Dynes and Edna Campbell,
Girvin Reed, Marvin and
Hannie Scott and Chester
and Bell Hackett. Mrs. Don-
aldson keeps very well and
still drives her car. Her
family of Iris, Peter and Joan
welcomed everyone.
Jim Wilkins and his friend,
Cathy Riehl, of Fort $t. John,
Alberta, are visiting for three
weeks with his parents, Herb
and Marie Wilkins and fam-
ily.
The High School Sunday
School class of Trinity United
Church attended the new
Kincardine Pentecostal
Church for worship on Sun-
day morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Livingston
Menary have moved to Luck -
now, to the home they
purchased on Havelock
Street, formerly Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Graham's. Herb
and Marie Wilkins, Russell
and Lillian Irvin, Dolly and
Hugh Menary and Cora
Cranston visited them rec-
ently, and presented Pearl
and Liv with a toaster oven
and casserole from the
neighbours.
Congratulations to Paul
and Janice Blake on the birth
of their new baby girl.
