Eliza Smyth, 17 -month-old daughter of Gordon and Jo- Anne Smyth, sixth con- cession of West Wawanosh, is a patient in Clinton hospital. Eliza took a tumble down stairs on Sunday and suffered a broken leg which requires her to be in traction. Congratulations to Gerry and Janet ( nee Hamilton) Wunnink of Exeter on the birth of a nine pound six ounce daughter on Monday, June 13 at Goderich hospital, a sister for Bryce and another great grandchild for Florence Berry. Les and Dorothy Wardell of Ripley visited with Ger- trude Park on Monday and attended the Thompson funeral services. Mrs. Elmer Cook has been a patient in Alexandra Marine and General hospital, Goderich for the past few days, being ad- mitted on Sunday. Joe and Irene West of Stratford spent the weekend with Fran and Jim Farrell. On Saturday, Fran's cousin, Ingrid Kragt of Surrey, B.C. visited the Farrell's. Catherine, Morley and Dean- na Scott attended the Pet- teplace reunion held at West Montrose on Sunday. June Elliott attended a Ladies' Retreat held at Camp Kintail this weekend_ Weekend guests of Wilma and Cecil Sutton were Rob- bie home from Toronto, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Barnhouse, and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Dorman of Dexter, Iowa, Julie Barnhouse, Merriam, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Trabouley, Tot- tenham, Robert Welsh, Ruth Gibson and girls of London, Robert Walker, Ottawa, Jean Sutton, David and friend of Ottawa, the occa- sion being the 50th wedding anniversary of Lyman and Pearl Sutton, Teeswater. Joan and Charlie Murray and family and Gary and Donna Sutton also visited the Suttons on Saturday night for a family gathering. A reception was held in Teeswater Community Cen- tre on Friday evening and an Open House was held at the Sutton residence in Teeswater on Sunday. A number of folks from the Grove attended to offer con- gratulations- to Pearl and Lyman. Mr. and Mrs, Andy Jamieson of Woodstock spent the weekend with Bob and Marion Emerson.
