Debra is temporarily employ- ed as a Private Duty Nurse. Marfan Elizabeth Raynard, daughter of Bruce and Norma Raynard of R. 1, Lucknow, graduated from Centralia College of Agricul- tural Technology in Consum- er and Community Studies at the May graduation exercis- es. Shower honours June brideto-be Neighbours, friends and relatives held a bridal shower Saturday, May 21 at 2.30 in the basement of the Lucknow United Church to honour Carol Campbell of Toronto, a June bride, daughter of Bob and Wilda Campbell of Luck - now. There was a short program of musical numbers, read- ings and contests. Carol was assisted in opening her gifts by her nephew, Shane Pette - place, sisters, Sharon Pette - place, Lucknow, Lynda Campbell, Mississauga and friend, Tonia Kelly of Tor- onto. Carol thanked the guests for their beautiful gifts and the hostesses for preparing the shower in her honour. A delicious luncheon was serv- ed by the ladies in charge. Carol will be married in Toronto the later part of June. While there they attended Rick Howald's wedding and visited all the family. On their way to Calgary, they were surprised to meet Mary Cleland. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Kingsbury and son of Cal- gary, Alberta spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reid. Mr, Kings- burgy is Mrs. Reid's brother. and Brock Regional field day rescheduled to June 2 By Nancy Hunter, Christine Simpson, and Julie Thompson Regional Field Day was postponed because of the cold weather last week. I , Belgravc are pleased to an- nounce the arrival of a daughter, Sherri Marie, 8 Ib. 1 oz., at Wingham and District Hospital on May 19, 1983, a sister for Bradley and Brent. SAVAGE - Brad and Blair are happy to announce that their baby sister has arrived. Mom and Dad still cannot agree on what her name shall be but want everyone to know that she is here. The 7 Ib. 71/2 oz. daughter of Don and Ruth, R. R. 4. Kincar- n. dine was born May 22, 1983. Proud grandparents are Gor- don and Shirley Brooks, Lucknow, and Walter and Elizabeth Savage. Kincar- dine. filled in as school secretary while he was absent. We all hope Mr. Blake will get well soon. Room 6 sent Mr. Blake some get well cards. Mrs. Graham's class and Mrs. Carroll's class went to the Children's Museum in London on Friday, May 27. They all had a good time. Maureen Penn from the Board Office was in the school during last week doing testing. Mrs. Blanchette's grade 2 class made booklets on bicyc- les. Mrs. Tebbutt's class are doing a Take 45 on Dino- saurs. Mrs. Young's class has been working on a unit about Butterflies and are ready to start on one about Dinosaurs. Jennifer Black's mother brought four baby chicks so that the class could watch them growing. Kirk Tyler brought his baby kittens in and they got a little wild near the chicks, but fortunately there are still four chicks left. The grade 7 and 8 girls had three visitors in to talk to them. Loree Raymond of Loree's Ladies Wear in Luck - now came on May 17 to talk to them about posture and poise.
