South Kinloss couple return from, trip

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mac-
Kenzie have returned from
visiting with their daughter,
Dr. and Mrs. Kuraishi and
Aha in Roseburg, Oregon.
They also visited with rela-
tives in Vancouver and San
Francisco.
Mr, and Mrs. Ford Cun-
ningham have returned
home after spending the last
three months in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs, Leonard
Clarke and. Julie spent the
weekend visiting with Win-
nie Leach at Otterville,
Mr. and Mrs. Fraser Mac-
Kinnon were Sunday evening
dinner guests with Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Frayne of Goder-
ich,
Little Erin Dickie of Mark -
dale spent last week with Mr.
and Mrs. William Dickie and
Krissa while her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Dickie
were holidaying on Paradise
Island, Bahamas. William
and Irene took Erin up to
Markdale on Sunday.
Nancy Maclntyre, Helen
and Heather and Wendy
Forster enjoyed last week in
Florida.

Timothy of Stayner spent a
few days with Mr. and Mrs,
Bill Burt and called on other
friends and former neigh-
bours here.
Dr. and Mrs, D'arcy Bruce
of Bayfield visited on Thurs-
day with Edna and May
Boyle
Mrs. Frank Maulden cal-
led on Margaret and, Esther
Murray at Teeswater on
Tuesday afternoon.
The Women's Institute
held the final card party for
this season on Wednesday
evening at the Holyrood hall.
A most enjoyable time was
had with high prizes going to
Mrs. Cliff Johnston and Glen
Haldenby Jr. The lucky win-
ners were Mrs. William Mac-
Pherson and Gerald Rhody.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Nich-
olson and their grandson,
Jamie Langford spent a
couple of days at Wallace -
burg with Mr. and Mrs.
Allan Nicholson and family.

Strathmore, Alberta visited
his parents, Freda and Reg
Broome for ten days rec-
ently.
Get well wishes to Bryce
Ritchie who was taken to
University Hospital in Lon-
don Saturday night with an
injured knee, following a
farm accident.
Ryan William, tion of Gary
and Dawna Richardson, was
baptized at Trinity Church on
Sunday by Rev. Arthur Scott.
The certificate was presented
by Ella Hackett. Those at-
tending church service and
visiting later at their home
were Gary's mother, Muria!
Richardson of Fort Eric and
Dawna's sister-, Betty and
idles Dupuis. 'troy and Tina
of Timmins; also Margaret
Mole of Dungannon and Rev.
Arthur Scott acid Darrell.
A far•ni sale was held at the
Arn Campbell farm on the
lOth concession of Ashfield
on Saturday. Arnold and
Dona Campbell, Sandra and
Sheila have moved to Pet-
rolia. Del and Wendy Nixon,
Cindy and Sherri are living in
the Campbell house,
Mrs, Bob Brooks, Bevin
and Bradley of Listowel visit-
ed at the Percy Home here
while her cousin, Joan Bert-
ram and family were visiting
there,
Visitors with Mr. and Mrs.
Bert Nicholson were Mr, and
Mrs. Clayton Nicholson of
Ripley, Jamie Langford of
Woodstock and Mrs, Lenoys
Cuyler of Millarton.
Kinlough W.M.S.
The Kinlough W.M.S. met
on Wednesday afternoon at
the home of Mrs. Tom
McDonald with Mrs. Alex
Percy presiding.
Mrs. Tom McDonald gave
the study of the Islands of the
Pacific including two film
strips. The hostess told inter-
esting facts about the Is-
lands.
Mrs. William MacPherson
gave the Easter devotions
which closed the meeting.
