Chief Whitby expects the new system to be implemented by May L (Sentinel Staff Photo) Firemen appreciation night The Lucknow and District Kinsmen Club held an Ap- preciation Night February 16 for the members of the Lucknow Fire Department, 'Eighteen members of the department were in attend- ance, Guest speaker, Ken Wilk- inson of Ontario Hydro ad- dressed the gathering, Kins- men Deputy Governor, Doug McLellan of Mount Forest was also in attendance. Kinsmen President Ron Crich presented Fire Chief George Whitby with a cheque for 51,000,00 on behalf of the club. This dona- tion is to be used towards the purchase of the new page system that the department is buying. Senior fleas turn table on Mildmay team The Lucknow Senior Pleas once more treated their fans to an extremely exciting game of hockey. Justin Murray opened the scoring with a goal assisted by Terry Stanley and Chris Stevenson. Warren Andrew scored the second with Jar- rod Brophy assisting. Chris Stevenson scored the next one with Terry Stanley assisting. Defenceman Terry Stanley scored from the blue line with an assist from his centreman Vince Sticklend.
