Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hiusser
and family visited on Sunday
with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs Irvin Hiusser of At-
wood.
Chalmers W.M.S.
On Wednesday afternoon
the Chalmers W.M.S. was
held at the home of Mrs.
Alan Falconer under the
leadership of Mrs. John de
Boer and Mrs. R. de Boer.
Mrs. R. de Boer read the
scripture and gave the chap-
ter in the study book, In the
Wake of the Storm, followed
by prayer.
Mrs. John de Boer gave
the Study Book topic, The
Culture of People of the
South Pacific Islands.
The minutes were read
and the financial statement
given by Mrs. Alan Falconer
for Mrs. Bill Purdon, secre-
tary. Arrangements for
World Day of Prayer, March
4, were made.
Lochalsh lad recovering from pneumonia

Little Keith Mackenzie,
son of Jim and Ruth Mac-
Kenzie, was in the Wingham
Hospital for about a week
with pneumonia. We are
glad to say that Keith is' now
home and is feeling much
better,
Mrs, Jim MacKenzie had
her grandmother from Clin-
ton with her for a couple of
days last week.
Kae Webster lost her
beloved foster mother, Mrs.
Viola Farquhar this past
week. Mrs. Farquhar passed
away in the Goderich Hos-
pital Monday, February 14 in
her 91st year. Mrs. Farquhar
was the former Viola John-
ston of Goderich and on
March 31st, 1917, she mar-
ried the late Chester Cecil
Farquhar of Clinton. Mr. and
Mrs. Farquhar lived in Sas-
katoon, Saskatchewan for 12
years. It was during this
period they took Kae, to raise
as their own. in 1928 they
moved back to Clinton where
they farmed for a number of
years. Mr. Farquhar passed
away in 1962. Mrs. Farquhar
is survived by her sister,
Norma Young of Goderich,
one nephew, Bud Schoenhals
of Belleville and daughter,
Kae Webster; three grand-
children, one great grand-
daughter and four great niec-
es and nephews.
Those who extended sym-
pathy to Kae and Norma
were a number number of
dear friends, cousins and old
neighbours, Mr, and Mrs.
Bill Craigie of Tobermory;
Elsie Zarnke of Waterloo;
Mr. and Mrs. Bud Schoen-
hals of Belleville; Mr. and
Mrs. Ray Hutchinson of Eg-

Black • Toll
The home of Aubrey and Marie Toll, R. R. 3, Blyth was the
setting on December 23 for the wedding of their daughter,
Kerry Arlene, to Robert Greer Black, son of Mrs. Millicent
Black of Winnipeg' and the late James Ley Black. Avon
Corneil, sister of the bride was matron of honour and Ted
Shaw, friend of the groom from Edmonton was best man.
Rev. Bonnie Smith of Auburn conducted the ceremony.
Cheryl Cronin, sister of the bride, was the soloist,
accompanied by Marjorie McDougal. Kerry and Greer are
residing in Edmonton.. Prior to the wedding they were
honoured at an open house on December 19th at the home of
the bride's parents. Mrs. Margaret Siertsema was hostess for
a community shower prior to the wedding.

The Provimral Offences Act, 1979, became law on March 28,
1980.
This Act allows Municipalities to enforce provincial law offences
under THE DOG LICENSING ACT.
Under the PROVINCIAL OFFENCES ACT THE VILLAGE OF
LUCKNOW has set the following fines:
1. Being the Owner of a Dog Failed
to Licence
2. Licenced Female Dog as Male Dog
3. Failed to Licence a kennel Section 6

5. Did Remove a Collar or Tag from
a Licenced Dog
6. Being the Owner of a Dog Allow
