Youth Group started ilitt its
activities for 1983 with a
Meeting at the Manse on
January W. On Saturday,
February 5, 14 members of
the Youth Group went swim-
ming at the indoor pool in
Kincardine, and then enjoy-
ed pizza for supper, Driving
cars were Brenda Hender-
son, Anne Alton, Ernest
Ackert and Warren McDoug-
all, The Youth Group is
planning a Weekend Retreat
at Silver Lake Camp on
February 2S - 26.
The Senior Choir at Luck -
now United is looking very
smart these Sundays in their
new Choir Gowns, They ate
maroon in colour, and were
purchased tor thechoir by
the U.C.W,
The Bible Study Group,
which meets on Thursday at-
ternoons, is studying the
book, Developing a Credible
Faith, which seeks to help
people articulate their relig-
ious beliefs. Fourteen mem-
boil are participating,
A large Confirmation Class
of 15 young people is pres-
ently meeting weekly under
the leadership of Rev. Me -
Dougall, Confirmation Sun-
dav is planned for Palm

The St. Helens W.I. Edu-
cational and Cultural meet-
ing was held Thursday, Feb-
ruary 3 with 16 members and
two visitors attending. A
dainty dessert served by
Mrs. Helen Todd, Miss Iso-
bel Miller and Mrs. Allan
Cranston, was enjoyed.
The roll call was, Some-
thing you remember about
one of your school teachers
which was interesting. Miss
Miller gave the Minutes of
Yesteryear.
Mrs, Ross Errington asked
her husband to show a film,
Shopping Bag Lady. Mrs.
Errington gave a reading,
Valentine Day, and Miss
