victory of the New Year. The
boys played well positioned

goaltending from Robbie

Lindsay.

Vandervelde fired a slap she'
which made it 3 - 1 Lucknow.

Steve Hamilton making
the transition to defence
played extremely well.

usual steady game in anchor-

Jeff Burgsma, the most
improved player on the team,
showed excellent promise in
making the adjustment to the
forward line.
Congratulations are in or-
der for the entire team who
came up with their best
performance to date.

Bantam A tea
By George Gibson
Bantam games for tke
week were in Tiverton on
Thursday and at home
Teeswater on Friday.
In the Tiverton contest,
although the scoresheet said
6 - 5 for Tiverton, the
skeleton crew of eleven, who
were able to play, put up a
super battle and, with the
help of a goal judge, might
have come home with a well
deserved win.
In the first two periods, the
Lucknow team played super
positional hockey and, with a
little luck, were able to carry
a 4 - 1 lead into the break.
Tiverton stormed into the
third period with two fast
goals but the Lucknow, team
was able to put on the brakes
and still held the lead when
disaster struck in a flurry of
goals in a space of a minute
and 28 seconds around the
1 draw in a fast paced game.

With a super third period,
effort, almost a repeat of last
week's comeback, the team
scored four goals and had the
lead late in the game until
Teeswater scored with 44
