Mrs. John Mowbray. 1st vice president, presided and opened the meeting with the reading of a New Year Prayer poem. Mrs. John Forster gave a splendid New Year's medita- tion. Each member was asked to write a New Year's resolution. These were seal- ed in an envelope to be opened and read at the 1984 January meeting. Those taking part in the Prayer Circle were Mrs. Ohve Needham. Mrs. Vera Schmidt and Mrs. Mary Laois. The minutes of the Dec- ember meeting were read b. the secretary. Mrs. Ira Dickie Treasurer, Mrs. Fra, ser MacKinnon. reported that the allocation had been met for 1982. The roll call was answered by fourteen members. The offertory prayer was given by Mrs. Lloyd MacDougall. Suggestions were given for next year's program and an executive meeting to plan these is to be held at the home of the president. Mrs. Evan Keith. Mrs. Keith introduced the new study on Mission Work in the South Sea Islands.
