June Alton, formerly of tacknow, has
bee appointed manager of the Holiday
World Travel Agency in Winhant. An
honours graduate of Westervelt Travel In-
stitute in London, June has worked for the
past two years with P. Lawson in Toronto.

County Appaloosa Club was held recently in
Wiikesport. Trophy recipients included Neve
Wee Showmanship grand champion, Danny
Mote, who tied with Bobby -lo Weese; Pee
Wee Pleasure reserve„ Donny Mole; Pee
Wee Games reserve champion, Donny Mole
and Youth Games reserve champ, Shawn
Mole.
Head table guests included Don and Kay
Mole who are members of the cub executive
and parents of Donny and Shawn,
The boys are grandchildren of Belle Mole,

Mrs. H. Annette Kerr of

Monday, January 3 in Vie-_
torin Hospital, London at the

She was born in Goderich
on July 27, 19944 to Mel and
Helen (Quaid) Dickson of
Saltford.
She was a member of the
Blyth United Church and the
Canadian Order of
Foresters. She was involved
in the Nile Inner Circle group
at Nile United Church and
also sang in the Blyth and
Nile United church choirs.
On October 12, 1953 she
married Gerald A. Kerr,
formerly of Colborne
Township, in St. Andrews
United Chu , Port Albert.
He survives
Also surviving 4 are four
children, MOissa, Paul,
Calvin and Michael, all at
home; her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Mel Dickson; two
sisters, Mrs. Barry (Willa)
Bogie of &altford and Sandra
of Port Albert; four
brothers, Tom and Don
Dickson of Port Albert, Art
Dickson of Sundre, Alberta
and Doug Dickson of Salt-
ford.

A funeral service was held
at McCallum Funeral Nome
in Goderich on 'Thursday,
January 6 at 2 p.m. Mr.
George Cowan of Blyth
United Church officiated and
acted as soloist. The ladies of
the Canadian Order of
Foresters formed an honor
guard.
Pallbearers were Burt
I3ean, Bryon Black, Ralph
Matthews, Bill Logue, Bruce
Richmond and Bill Shaddick.
Flower bearers were
Bruce Culbert, Dennis Kerr,
Jamieson Ribey and Glen
Ribey.
Interment was in Colborne
Cemetery, Colborne
Township.

Mrs. Sophie Kempton
Beeler died at the King's
Sons and Daughters Nursing
Home in Meridia,
Mississippi in her 90th year
on Friday, January 7.
She was born in Afield
Township on August 3, 11M3
to the late ---Mr. and Mrs.
William Kempton.
She was predeceased by
her husband, Dr. J. Moss
Beeler in 167. She was also
predeceased by one sister,
Tena and two brothers, Urn
and Bill.
She is survived by one
sister, Mrs. Harold
Tabitha) Bogie of Goderich.
A funeral service and
committal were held at the
Webb Funeral Home Chapel
in Meridian on Monday,
January 10 at 11 a.m.
Interment was in Clinton,
Kentucky cemetery.
