Mr. and Mrs. Bob ire of
Curti in Manitoba visited
with his brother Doug and
wife Irene in Ripley and also
with his brother Norman and
wife C°athaerine who live on
the i2th cion. west at the
Lake Shore south in the
north-west scorner of Huron
Travp. While here Bob and
wife Moya attended the
dance in the Ripley Com-
plex. They were favourably
surprised by the building on
this first visit to it.
Bob and Moya also visited
with their son John and wife
Linda at Guelph. Bob, who
was a maker in
Jnr Ontario, is now a
cheese inspector with the
dairy division of the
Manitoba Ministry of
Agriculture in Winn'. i : r
Back in the early `.mss
around the time of Hur-
ricane Nuel, Bob and Moya
and family were next door
neighbours of Fran and Ab
Wylds when they lived on
Malcolm street in Ripley.

word of the death of Mrs. Sid
Johnson of Toronto. Sid is
the brother of Redvers and
uncle of Joy McLean. In poor
health for sometime Mrs.
Johnson fell and broke her
hip on Sun. Dec. 19. She pass-
ed in East General
'Hospital, 'Toronto Dec. 25.
