In the third, Walkerton ap-
pat ently had plans to intimi-
date the Lucknow squad
which resulted ,in a penalty
filled period, Walkerton
players spent 25 minutes in
the bin during the period and
a Notal of 37 minutes for the
game. Lackner was asses-
sed 17 minutes of penalties
in the third period and a total
of 29 minutes during the
Toni , Gilmore managed to
score ' from Grant Murray
but, Walkerton scored with
only two minutes remaining
in the game for a final score
of 3 - 2.
The Luckow Midgets part-
icipated in the Arthur Tour-
nament December 29 coming
away with two losses. The
boys played some excellent
hockey in the tournament
however, considering the re-
mainder of the teams were C

Bantams winning streak ends at 10 with loss

The Bantams entered the
New Year on a downturn,
their unbeaten string stop-
ped at 10 games.
On December 30, in Rip-
ley, the team kept things
alive with a 6 - 6 tie. Lucknow
started fast with two goals in
the first three minutes. M
one point had a 4 - 21ead, but
Ripley battled back, scoring
three goals in less than two
minutes to take a 6 - .5 lead
into the break. In the third,
the only goal was a Lucknow
marker and the game ended
a friendly 6 - 6 tie,

In Teeswater on Monday
night the team again started
fast and had the power failed
half way through game, the
Lucknow crew would have
had a 4 - 0 win. However,
