On Saturday evening, Dec-
ember 16th Mr. and Mrs.
Eldon Bradley celebrated
their 35th wedding anniver-
sary with a family dinner at
the Old Mill, Benmiller.
Present with Eldon and
Allene were John Bradley of
Wingham, Phyllis and David
Todd of Stratford, Evelyn
and Jim Bradley of Amber -
ley, Doris and George Michie
of Belgrave. Upon returning
home they found the house in
darkness - but 50 relatives
and ftiends_were gathered in
the basement for a real
surprise anniversary party.

ENVIRONMENTAL CLASS
The Grade 11 Environ-
mental Science Class is sel-
ling tickets to raise money for
their winter camping trip.
They will be going up to
Wiarton on January 12th.
Here they will be cross-
country skiing, snowshoeing,
orienteering and studying
the stars. The draw is fifty
cents a ticket and the prize is
fifty dollars. The draw will be
held on- January 9th so get
your tickets now!!
CHRISTMAS DINNER.
The high school Christmas
dinner will be held on Tues.
day,. December 19th. The
Dramatic Art class is going to
put on a performance for the
students after the dinner.
Mrs. Dodd's elementary
choir will be performing and
leading us in carol singing.

CHRISTMAS 'DANCE
The Students' Council is
holding a Christmas• Dance
on Thursday, December 21st
from 9.00 to 12.00. Music
will be supplied by "Turn
Table". If you are not a
student of R.D.S. be sure to

Grade 8s from. Mrs. Mar-
tyn's class are having a pizza
for lunch on Friday, for
selling the most Mixed Nuts,
Poppycock and Chocolate
Covered Almonds.
Wilfred Janisse won the
individual prize.
Cards were played and a
delicious lunch served, along
with a beautifully decorated
anniversary, 'cake.
Mrs: Jim Smith accom-
panied Rev. R. D. and Mrs.
MacDonald of Port Elgin to
Willowdale on Friday and on
Saturday they 'attended the
O'Kane-Brisbin wedding at
Pickering.
Mrs. Alex Percy of Kin -
lough spent a weekend with
Mrs. Peter Campbell, until
her sister returned home on
Sunday.
Whitechurch
Misses Sandra and Heath-
er Currie of Guelph are home
with their parents, Mr. and
Mrs. John A. Currie for the
Christmas holidays.
Mr. and Mrs. John Gaunt
were in London on Wednes-
day.
