Atoms take back to back losses from Teeswater
BY GEORGE GIBSON
Atom hockey this past
week included back to back
losses to Teeswater.
On Monday night, in Luck -
now, the boys had to make a
few changes in the lineup as
four of the second year
players were not available for
the game.
Teeswater built up a 2 goal
lead after two periods and
skated to a 2 - 1 victory.
Scoring for Lucknow, in the
third, was Chris Collyer,
assisted by Richard MacDon-
ald.
Brad Priestap, our team
captain, had another good
game at center, particularly
as a penalty killer in the
second period.
On Tuesday night a team
comprised mostly of first
year players, made the re-
turn trip to Teeswater and
lost the game 8 - 0.
The boys . had quite a
defensive workout as the
Teeswater team carried the
play to them all night. Brian
Reavie had a busy night
between the pipes and man-
aged to hold Teeswater of`
until late in the first period.
All players worked hard and
gave it a good try.
The coach says as long as
everyone works hard and
