Ripley Christmas tree
BY AB WYLDS
Well up go the
Christmas trees in the
homes. And the Ripley
area just has the farm
where they are growing -
one block west of Ripley
towards Pine River. They
were planted there back
in the 1950's by Wally
Burnett of Windsor who
owned the Allan McLay
place at that time and, he
used to hire boys from the
Ripley District High
School. The present
owner is Mac MacKenzie
of the Bruce Inn of
Kincardine and he has,
the trees at a reasonable
rate for sale.
