The November general meeting was Bring -a -Buddy night with 15 guests present. • Mrs. ' Eunice Cunningham was guest speaker and spoke about ceramics and -china painting. Eunice donated a beautiful hand painted neck- lace fora raffle, -with Barb Helm being the lucky win- ner. Everyone enjoyed the evening and display of beaut- iful work provided by Eunice, On Tuesday, December 5 two guests _wow -.present at the executive meeting. Proceeds from the sale will be used for community work. On Tuesday, December 12 the Kinettes will assemble at Pinecrest to visit with,the residents as well as provde a short Christmas sing song. The Kinettes are busy mak- ing small favours for each of the residents. The funds for this project were graciously donated by the Lucknow C.B. club, Their support is ap- preciated. Kingsbridge Curriculum BY: BRENT BERRY, BRENT VanOSCH, JOE GERDES This week the Grade 1 and 2 class are preparing for a Christmas Mass. They are to be the hosts of this Mass on December 21st. Also this week the Grade 3 and 4's -painted their wind- ows with Christmas decora- tions. They also wrote letters to their pen -pals in Michi- gan. Junior Pelletier was chos- en as Student of the Week for the Grade 5 and 6 class. On Saturday, December 2, the Senior Boys from Kings- bridge took part in the Huron -Perth Volleyball Tournament in Stratford. The Senior Boy winners were Dublin and the Senior Girl winners were St. Michael's from Stratford. An important sports event happened here at the school on . Wednesday, December 6th. The teachers and par- ents took on the students of Grades 7 and 8. The teachers and parents triumphed 3 games to none but this was because we, the students let them to make it look good. Also, if we had beat them, we might have had extra homework. On Thursday evening, December 7th a Community School Association meeting was held to discuss the hiring of a ' Community School Co ordinator. This past weekend, Mr, Dave Zyluk attended an O.E.C.T.A. (Ontario English Catholic Teachers Associa- -"° tion) conference in Toronto. December 12th is the date for the Knights of Columbus Free Throw at Brookside. Twenty-four students in eight categories from our school are taking part. This Thursday, December 14th is the annual Christmas Concert. Everyone is wel- come to attend. It starts at 8:15 p.m. Friday was the last day of school at Kingsbridge for Kelli-Lee and John Potter who are moving to Hamilton.
