W. Anderson dies
Wilfred B. Anderson died
in St. Joseph's Hospital.
on Friday. Decem-
ber 8 1978.
He owned and operated
Anderson Flax Mill, which
had been bis father's busi-
nss, until his retirement.
He was also a member of
Old Light Masonic' Lodge„
the Royal Canadian Legion,,
Ludinow District Lions Club
and the Bruce -liberal Assoc -
Re was born in Ludmow
on July 25. 1895,, a son of the
late George Anderson and
the late Bertha Pentland,
both of Dungannon.

of Toronto on May 17,, 1931,
in Toronto. His wife predec-
eased him m November,
1913.
He is survived by his
daughters„ Mary, Mies. Dav-
id Hunter, Toronto; Ruth,
Mrs. Wm. Swan, Guelph,
and a son, George, Lucknow.
Seven grandchildren also
survive.
The funeral was held on
December 11, 1918 at 2.00
p.m. from the MacKenzie
and McCreath Funeral
Home„ Luemow, The service
was conducted by Rev, Doug
Kaufman, of the Lucknow
United Church.
A Masonic service was
held Sunday at 8.00 p.m. and
the Royal- Canadian Legion
held a service at 8.30 p.m. on
Sunday.
Honorary pallbearers were
Roy Finlayson, William Port-
eous, Allister Hughes, Tom
Salkeld, Orland Richards,
Joseph MacMillan, and Em-
erson McKim.
Pallbearers were Clarence
Greer, Ken Mowbray, Fred
Emberlin, George Joynt,
Donald MacKinnon and
Murray Gaunt.
Temporary entombment
followed in South Kinloss

mittee -of -the -whole session
to discus the salaries of the
town employees for the com-
ing year
Reeve Ioynt said that the
village employees do not feel
free to discuss the matter of
salarks, if negotiations are
not private. Council will
inform the press and the
public to the outcome of
salary negotiations with vil-
lage empkiyees, when a
decision has been made,-
