felt, They are preparing
special songs for the Christ-
mas concert. Also CKNX will
be taping some of their
music for radio broadcasts in
December.

Grade Two's in Mrs.
Shewfelt's class made their
own Santa Claus parade. The
large floats, showing famous

bulletin board.
PINE RIVER U.C.W.
Pine River U.C.W. met in
the church for their Novem-
ber meeting, followed ,by a
successful bazaar, contribut-
ed to by Messengers, C.G.
I.T. and U.C.W. ladies.
Mrs. Bob Courtney pres-
ided and opened with a
poem. Mrs. Cecil Humph-
rey presented a program of
remembrance, reading "A
Soldier Surrenders". Singing
by the C.G.I.T. girls, accom-
panied by Lori Gibson, was
enjoyed. The poem, "Why
Wear a Poppy?", was read
by Mrs. John Ferguson. A
citizenship reading was giv-
en by Mrs. Delbert Wilson,
followed with prayer by Mrs.
Leonard Reid.
A request was made for all
annual reports to be forward-
ed to the secretary. Mrs.
Courtney closed with prayer
and Mrs. 'Douglas Martyn
and helpers served lunch.
