The boys played well, particularly the Triple D, but were too kind to their visit- ors. The first star of the game was the Teeswater goalie who was fantastic in the second period. Goals for Lucknow came from .Chris Collyer and Dan- ny Gilchrist. Assists went to Dean Dickson and Steve Murray, Final score Tees - water 4 - Lucknow 2. On Tuesday, the Atoms were back to Teeswater for a re -match. 'Again the boys- proved oysproved to play their best hockey in the final period, thanks to a couple of . good checking shifts by Becker, de Jong and Durnin. After a good team effort the boys settled for a tie. The scoresheet read Dan- ny Gilchrist from Richard MacDonald, Danny Gilchrist unassisted and Rick Bechard from Steve Murray. In Saturday's game in Wingham, the second year players had a warm-up for their London game. They got heated up, all right! Both teams played good free -skat- ing hockey with good scoring chances and lots of crowd - pleasing action. Wingham appeared to have a victory but with 28 seconds on the clock the boys tied the game. Figure Skaters pass 'We now have almost 100 members this season and the Junior Skaters are busy working for their badges. MacKenzie and Brad Priestap from Chris Collyer. Sunday started early with Juveniles on winning streak Lucknow Juveniles have come up victorious, losing only once in six games played. They lost a 5 - 4 decision to Port Elgin on. Monday of last week and then defeated Lion's Head 7 - 6 on Thursday night. They bomb- ed Chesley 14 - 3 on Sunday. Goal scorers for the week were Randy Guay, 2 goals and 1 assist; Pat Murray, 4 goals and 1 assist; Grant Gilchrist, 3 goals and 4 assists; Jini Van Osch, 3 goals and 2 assists; Danny Londry, 1 assist; Joe Boyle, 1 goal and 1 assist; Mark Frayne, 7 goals and 7 assists; Steve Simpson, 2 goals and 2 assists; Steve MacPherson, 1 goal and 2 assists; Dwayne Pfieffer, 1 goal; Steve David- son, 1 goal; Paul Hamilton, 2 goals and 2 assists and Dave Errington, 2 assists. Bantams win On November 20, Lucknow Bantams went to Mildmay where they- won another game.9 - 4. David Gibson led the way with three goals and two assists. Arthur Clark scored twice and single goals went. to Gerald Cook, Allan Eadie, Don Greer and Glen Raynard. Assists went to Arthur Clark and George Alton with two each and singles were made by Brian Taylor, Don Greer, Kent Alton, Lance Sanderson, Glen Raynard, Mike Humphrey, Paul Van- derveldt and Scott Rivett. Thursday, Tiverton were in town and Lucknow won 7 - 1. Kent Alton scored three goals and Glen Raynard two. Brian Taylor and George Alton each scored one. Allan Eadie, Arthur Clark and Gerald Cook each assist- ed twice, while singles went , to David Gibson, Brian Tay- lor, and Glen Raynard. Friday night,, the boys travelled to Howick where they took their first defeat, 4 - 2. Kent Alton took one goal and one assist. The other goal was scored by Brian Taylor. Don ' Greer assisted once. an 8.30 departure by bus for London, The Lucknow fans, who out -cheered London's, saw good goal tending, solid defence and fine positional play. In a game featuring all out effort by all players, the boys skated to a 3 1 victory. All boys deserve to have their name in print but the scoresheet had just two --- Brad Priestap, 1 goal and 2 assists; Chris Collyer, 2 goals and 1 assist. Don't miss the re -match on December 9. Fleas host Brussels Tykes On November 25th Luck - now played host to the visiting Brussels Tykes. After a relatively close game for the 2 periods the Brussels team scored 3 quick goals enroute to a 6 - 2 win. Rod Cayley and Sammy Murray scored Lucknow goals. Pee Wees lose against Ripley.� On Tuesday, November 21, Lucknow Pee Wees play- ed a hotly contested game against Ripley at the Ripley arena and lost with a score of 3 - 1. The Ripley goalie just would not let the puck past him. The one goal was scored by Alex West with Todd Ritchie assisting. The Lucknow team played against Tiverton at Lucknow on Friday evening with a score of 6 3 for Tiverton. Todd Ritchie scored one goal witb an assist from Lynn Murray; Mike.Crump got two goals, one unassisted and the other 'assisted by Ross Pick- ard and Chad Mann. On Sunday, November 26 the Lucknow Pee Wees 'play- ed against the London R.C.C. in London and al- though they made a good showing and played well, the score was 6 - 2 in favour of London. Mike Crump scored one goal and Ken Van Osch scored the other, assisted by Grant Murray. Their hosts treated the boys well, giving them crests and free pop. A visit to -McDonald's for Big Macs rounded out the day for the Pee Wees. On Saturday, December 9, Pee Wees and Atoms from London are coming to Luck- now to play return games in late afternoon. Goalie David Preiss got a shutout. 'The Black Hawks were defeated by the Red Wings, 7 - 1. Fred Davies and Richard Duiker scored twice and David Emlierlin got three goals. Peter Kohnert scored for the Hawks. The Bruins edged past the Canadians-- 3 -- 2. Kevin, Lindsay and Gerald Martin scored for the Canadians and Stephen Frayne, Bill Hopf and Chris Naylor dented the net for the Bruins.
