Travel Lottery" to raise
srffient funds to "Help the
Mentally Retarded to Help
Themselves'. They also feel
that thisproject will help
them make more people
aware of the work carried on.

Trinity ladies fall supper
On the evening of Nov-
ember 21, the annual Fall
Ladies supper was held at
Trinity Church, and 48 ladies
sat down to a delicious hot
meat.
Wilma Blake gave the call
to worship. The scripture
was read by Shirley Irvin and
Wilma Blake gave the medi-
tation "the Message of Sec-
ret Pals". The president,
Shirley Hackett welcomed
everyone and Anne Andrew
led in prayer.

installation of officers for the

Suzanne Andrew and Don-
na Campbell then favoured
with a musical number which
was much enjoyed. A humor-
ous skit followed, . "Too
Many Cooks Spoil the Pud-
ding", which brought the
enjoyable evening to a close.

ment was defeated by one vote (37-36) in
the Legislature this week on an amend-
ment to the -Child Welfare Act.
The amendment requires the province to
set up a registry to pair names of adopted
children who have reached eighteen with
those of their natural parents. It also would
bring them together if alt parties, including
the adoptive parents, agree.
