Jeff Fillmore, a Grade 8 student at Brookside, has been working as a page at the Ontario Legislature, Queen's Park, Toronto, for about four weeks and will soon be coming home. The Grade 8 class is planning to take a trip to the • Royal Ontario Museum and to the Legislature on Tuesday, Nov- ember 14, while Jeff is still there. A few weeks ago the Student's Council sponsored a sale of chocolate bars for Hallowe'en from which they realized about $550.00. Rev. G. Garratt, chaplain of the Lucknow Legion, was the guest speaker for the Remembrance Day service at Brookside School on Friday. Mrs. Wilson played the piano for the singing of "O Canada" after which Donna Freeman read a passage from the Bible.
