Mod- erator, was in charge of the Sacrament of Baptism and Communion Services, The Sacrament of Baptism was administered to Kevin Wayne Rintoul, son of Gary and Barbara Rintoul; Michel- le Lynn Laidlaw, daughter of Paul and Ruth Laidlaw; and Stewart William Rintoul, son of Neil and Helen Rintoul. Miss Karen Young was the new communicant. Visitors on Sunday with Mrs. Ella Johnston were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Johnston of Listowel, Carol Ann and Ruth Ann of Toronto, Mr. and Mrs, Charles Woods of Emondville.' Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Osborne, Bethany, Anna and Laura spent last week in Toronto. Harvey attended college and Mrs. Osborne and girls visited with her sister and brother-in-law and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hood and with her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Hobbs of Trenton. On Friday all were at Ottawa to attend the wedding of Mrs. Osborne's brother, Er- nest Hobbs to Margaret Ross. Congratulations to Dave Gibb on- being elected Kip - loss councillor to fill the vacancy left by the resigna- tion of Mr. Clark, Mrs. Agnes Farrier visited a few days the first of the week with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Farrier and family of Guelph. On Tuesday evening North Huron Regional Rally was held in Whitechurch United Church with around 80 at- tenders. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis and Dana of Windsor visited the past week with her mother Mrs. Agnes Farrier. Those attending Kairshea W.I. from Whitechurch on Thursday evening were Mrs, Agnes Farrier, Mrs. Don Ross, Mrs. Bill Evans, Mrs. Ivan Laidlaw, Mrs. Lorne Durnin, Mrs. Fred Tiffin, Mrs. Rena Fisher, Miss Merle Wilson, Mrs. Jim Wilson and Mrs. Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin, Mrs. Dave Gibb, Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Durnin on Satur- day night attended the Scotts of New York State entertain- ment put on at the High School. Mack Inglis of Highgate spent the weekend with his brother, Tom Inglis. Victor Emerson visited Sunday afternoon with Tom Inglis of West Wawanosh. The many friends of Mrs. Gordon Scott of Ripley will be pleased to' learn that she was able to return to Kincar- dine Hospital on Wednesday by ambulance from St. Jos- eph's Hospital, London. -Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Conn visited her at Kincardine Hospital on Sunday and found her much improved. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Mc- Millan and Mrs. George Tiffin were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mowbray. Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson of Wingham and Paul Falconer of Sarnia were also Sunday visitors:. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Fal- coner were weekend visitors with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Milligan. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mowbray on Friday were at Teeswater where they visited with Mrs. Lucy Harkness who was. visiting with Mrs. Jim Struthers. Miss Barbara Purdon of Kitchener spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon. The Wingham High Schoolers on Monday enjoy- ed a holiday. Mr. and Mrs, John Moore of Ottawa visited at White- church with Miss Mildred McClenaghan on the week- end. To celebrate Michelle Lynn Laidlaw's christening a dinner was held at her grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wal- ter Elliott and family. Guests present were Mr, and Mrs. Elroy Laidlaw, grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Elliott and Jeffery, Brussels; great grandmother, Mrs. Agnes Elliott, and great grandfath- er, Bill Forster, Weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tiffin were Miss Joyce Tiffin, Toronto; Barry Tiffin, London; and grandma, Mrs. Stewart of Wingham.
