to learn that George
' Webster on Tuesday,
October 24, enters
University Hospital,
London, to have hip
surgery. His many
friends wish him a speedy
recovery.

and gave the call to worship.

led, in prayer.
The minutes were read by
secretary Joanne de . Boer.
The birthday calendar was
marked by Andy and Linda
Versteeg. The offering was
received by Bethany Osborne
and dedicated .by Donald
Irwin.
The junior story was given
by.Mrs. Archie Purdon. The
senior story was given by
Mrs. Hugh Simpson. , Mrs.
Simpson gave the closing
prayer.

courtesy remarks. Mrs. Vict-
or, Emerson closed the meet-
ing with prayer.

Whitechurch W.I. held
their Agriculture and Canad-
ian Industries meeting on
Tuesday, October 17 in the
Memorial Hall.
The president, Merle Wil-
son, presided, giving a
welcome to the members and
invited guest branches, St.
Helens and Maitland.
The secretary, Mrs. Rena
Fisher, ., read the minutes.
Bruce County Rally is. being
held on Thursday at Sauble.
The delegates are Mrs. Rena
Fisher and Mrs. Lewis.

Winter Fair in Toronto. This
