Holyrood Happenings
BY LYNNE NICOLSON
If somebody visited Holy-
rood this week and jokingly
told a friend to break a leg
the visitor would probably be
more than. a -little surprised
to find, that the friend would
likely take him at his word.
Sounds a little out of the
ordinary doesn't it. Well I
guess you could ';say that
Holyroodonians have been
like that this week ;It:must be
the weather. For starters,
Mrs. M. Hodgins, R. R. 1
Holyrood, was hanging out
her new grandchild's baby
clothes one day last week.

She misjudged her footing
and fell, landing on herwrist
and receiving a fracture.
• As if one broken limb
wasn't enough Mrs. A.
Nicolson, R. R. 1 Holyrood,
decided on the spur of the
moment to run downstairs
and step on a shoe. Of course
things never happen simply
in life and Mrs. Nicolson
decided'to keep to those very
words by breaking her foot.
Her leg will be in a cast for
six weeks.
Figure skating registra-
tions have been taking place
over the past few weeks. The
younger children are usually
taught by Junior Coaches. To
become a Junior Coach you
must attend a coaching
clinic. So this weekend Caryn
