Mrs. Mary Sere visited her daughter Marybelle, Mrs. Dwight Aldham and family at Inglewood on the weekend. Mrs. Alice Scott of Belgrave accompanied Mary and visited her brother, ° Finlay Shackleton atr Rain- bow Valley Ranch near Caiedon. Doug and Sue Brown were in Toronto on the weekend to see the Blue Jays play ball. Mr. and Mrs. Benson Shackleton visited her sister, Mrs. Pearl Harcourt and husband Wilmer .of Wing - ham on Sunday evening. Pearl is recuperating .from a hip operation. Mr. and Mrs. Shackleton's son-in-law, Alvin Becker of Dashwood is showing Smith - Roles products at the Plough- ing Match this week. W DUNGANNON CHRISTIAN' FELLOWSHIP CHURCH Pastor Lawrence's scrip- ture lesson on Sunday was on the topic of "Christ in Us". Mrs. Lawrence told, a child- ren's story called, "Louise's ,Prayer", whichwas follow6d by Florence" Frey playing an autoharp as accompaniment for her class who led in a hymn. Theladies of the church will be working on a quilt Monday afternoon in the basement of the church. This project is under the leader- ship: of Norma. Martin, pres- ident of the Women's Mis- sionary and Service Commis- sion. Next Sunday, Laverne N;u- zinger, a,missionary speaker who has served in India, will be bringing a challenging message at the morning. service. Rev. C. G. Westhaver spoke on the subject, "What then shall. this child be?". The choir sang the anthem, "Jesus loves the little children" under the direction of the organist, Mrs. Jean Elliott. Next Sunday, October 1st is Worldwide Communion Sunday, accordingly the Sac- rament of Holy Communion will be held in the 'morning service.
