Irwins
celebrate
anniversary
,On Sunday, August 27th, a
surprise social afternoon was
held to celebrate the 25th
wedding anniversary of Ell-
wood and Joan (Campbell)
Irwin of Guelph, formerly of
Lucknow.
Families of both sides
gathered in the afternoon on
the lawn at their cottage at
Point Clarke, and after a visit
together a bounteous smorg-
asbord was enjoyed. The
honoured couple then open-
ed their many lovely gifts
and both,, fittingly replied
voicing their appreciation.
Although their plans were to
by-pass any celebration, all
enjoyed a pleasant afternoon
with them at their summer
home, with perfect weather
for such an occasion.
- They have two sons Barton
and Dan and one daughter
Marilyn who had prepared a
book of clippings and pictur-
es of past occasions which
they will cherish for years to
come.
