A surprise Birthday Party
was held for Mrs. Gordon
Barger Sr. by her family at
the home of her son and
daughter-in-law, Herb and
Roseline, on Friday night.
They presented their mother
with a family ring and the
grandchildren presented her
with lovely gifts and best
wishes and her husband gave
her a loyely amethyst ring. A
lovely supper was served by
the family.

was held on the Lucknow
Greens. First prize went to

ham; 2nd prize, Wilma
Kerr's rink, Wingham; 3rd
prize, Yvonne McPherson's
rink, Wingham; 4th prize,
Kathleen Snell's rink, At-
wood; 5th prize, Audrey
MacDonald, Evelyn Hender-
son and Jennie McPherson,
Lucknow and 6th prize,
Mamie, Brouton's rink, At-
wood.
On July 26 Roy Finlayson
and Jack Treleaven won a
prize at Port Elgin. On
August 3rd Isobel Miller and
Helen Hall won "the Conso-
lation prize at Ladies' Doub-
les in Seaforth. ,On August
7th Jack and Audrey Mac-
Donald won the Consolation
prize at Mixed Doubles in
Goderich,
