Dungannon ladies hold community shower

weeks with members of their
family in Essex and Windsor.
Congratulations to Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Guilbeault
(nee Pat Smith) on the birth
of a baby daughter, Christy
Rae, on August 2 in Windsor
Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Irvin
took grandson Harold Stirl-
ing home to Thamesville last
Sunday and visited with
Betty and Fred Stirling and
Darlene. On the way home
the Irvins called on Mr. and
Mrs. Chas. Fowler in Zurich.
Mrs; Thos. Webster came
home from Wingham Hospit-
al on Friday.
Mrs. Dynes Campbell had
a few ladies in for cards and a
social get together on Friday
evening.

opening her gifts by Anita
Doherty, Leola Chisholm and
Maureen Harris.

couple of days with her
cousin Mr. Frank Moulton
and Mrs. Lil MacDonald.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mc-
Creight of Goderich visited

frey on the weekend. Miss
Lori Morrison of Toronto was
a weekend visitor at God-
frey's.
Mr. and Mrs. Dwight
Aldham and family spent the
weekend with Mrs. Mary
Bere.
Congratulations to Mr.
and Mrs. Terry Hodges, who
won the $1,000'in'the weekly
draw at Lucknow on Wednes-
day.
Norman Jewell, who sails
on the "Parker Evans",
spent a couple of days
recently with his sister and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Jim
Rivett, while he is on leave in
Goderich.
Robert Barker of Toronto
visited his sister and brother-
in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard
MacAulay and family on
Saturday while spending the
weekend with his mother,
Mrs. Wm. Barker.
Congratulations to Mr.
and Mrs. Gary Blake (nee
Bernice Langyell) of Cam-
bridge onthe birth of a baby
son, Matthew Calvin, 9 lb. 6
oz. on July 20, 1978, first
grandchild for Mr. and Mrs.
Howard Blake.

on Wednesday evening in

Kincardine OPP were cal-
led to investigate a two -car
collision on Campbell Street,
Saturday involving vehicles
driven by Mark Passmore,
Wingham and Randall Guay,
Lucknow.
Damage to the Passmore
vehicle was estimated at
$800 and $500 to the Guay
vehicle. A charge was laid.
On August 11 on Conces-
sion 12 at Sideroad 25, Huron
Township, the OPP investig-
ated an accident involving a

Ripley and an unknown
vehicle.
There was $1,000 damage
to the . Reiger vehicle and
$500 damage to a building
owned by Nick Tsimpragos of
Kitchener. Reiger received
minor injuries in the colli-
sion.
A two -car collision on
Highway 21 at Concession 3,
Huron Township, August 8
resulted in a total damage
estimate of $2,300 to vehicles
driven by Peter Aalbers, R.,
R. 2 Ruthven and Patricia
McLean, R. R. 4 Ripley.
Damage to the Aalbers
vehicle was estimated at
$1,500 and $800 to the
McLean vehicle. A charge
was laid.
The Kincardine OPP were
also called to investigate two
theft complaints in Kinloss
Township.
