Those who arrived in

\treated to a . dinner in the

As no Graham picnic had
been held for many years, on
Sunday it was a matter of
renewing old friendships and
making new ones, enjoying
Western hospitality a-nd list-
ening to bag pipe music and
being entertained by mem-
bers of the younger genera-
tion.
A short tour by some of the
members present to Pilot
Mound, some 10 miles
distant, was enjoyed. It was.
in this district that the first
members of the Graham
family arrived about the turn
of the century and settled
'here. Some of their descend-
ants still live here.
Refreshments were served
before returning. The day
ended with a bountiful sup-
per given at the Durham
home and a short prayer by a
local clergyman.
The next Graham Family
picnic will be held in 1981
somewhere in this part of
Ontario.
