Holyrood and .Purple Grove W.I. see "His Own Boss" Members of the Holyrood and Purple Grove Women's Institutes, and friends in the community went by bus to Blyth where they enjoyed the play, "itis Own Boss" which was written by Kith Roul- ston. This trip took the place of the August meeting on Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walsh and their daughter, Rhonda, of Melfort, Saskatchewan, are v'isiting with his mother, anil other relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Guest of, Teeswater spent a day with Mr, and Mrs. Tota MacDonald. Mrs. Campbell Brown re- turned home to, Strathroy after spending a few days with her brother, Hugh Lane, Mrs. Gertrude Walsh, and other members of his family. Mrs. Gertrude Walsh held a successful auction sale on Saturday afternoon. Visitors last week with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. MacPherson, concession 10, were Mr. and Mrs. Art Roy of Hamilton and Mrs. Ethel Quinsey and *Mrs. Olive Moore of Mit- chell. We extend sympathy to Mr. Jack Webster and family in the passing of his wife at Edmonton, Alberta. Jack is well known here. He lived with the Lane family and attended Kinlough School a .. number of years ago.
