While here he attended the McDonagh -Hamilton wedding. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Rice visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bryan of Or- angeville. Recent visitors with Mrs. Norma McDonagh were Murray McDonagh and fam- ily of Sault Ste. Marie, Chuck McDonagh of Tuscon, Ari- zona and Ross McDonagh and family of Manotick. While here they attended the wedding of Rod McDonagh and Joanne Hamilton. Gary Austin of Lucknow is a patient in Wingham Hos- pital where he underwent an appendectomy on Monday of this week. ERRINGTON - ALTON REUNION The Errington -Alton clan gathered at Brookside school Sunday, July 30, 1978 for their annual reunion. There were 82 people registered..• A ball game was held for those interested and races organized by Lois St. Clair, Donna McClenaghan and Debbie MacGillivray for the others. About thirty members of the _ MacGregor clan, a num- ber from Alberta and also Texas, .gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon MacGregor, London for a family reunion to honour Mae Stuart on her 90th birthday. After a bountiful dinner an enjoyable after- noon and evening were spent socializing. A birthday celebration and dinner attended by neigh- bours and friends took place at the Foran home at St. Helens, where Mae had resided for forty years. Many gifts, flowers and cards were received. The rest of the time was spent visiting. 40TH HELM REUNION Thirty relatives • of the Helm descendants met at Lansdowne Park, Kincardine on July 30th at 1.15 p.m. for a basket dinner. It was held one week later as the tractor pull was held on the same Sunday as the reunion. The president, Tom Helm, spoke a fevc' words of welcome. Jim Hunter. asked the blessing and everyone enjoyed the meal. A minute's silence was observed in memory of Lloyd Hunter, Lucknow and Bert Helm, 'Tiverton who passed on since the last year reunion. Mrs.. Allan Ritchie read the minutes and treasurer's report. President, Tom Helm, asked for a vote on next year's reunion. It will be held on the 3rd Sunday of July at Ashfield Park. Tom Helm installed the officers for 1979. THAT Marlene and Doug Mac- Donald, Auburn and Pat and Harvey Livingston spent the weekend in Marine City, Michigan visiting some of Marlene's relatives. A reading and two contests were conducted by Mrs. John MacKinnon. A contest on drawing pictures behind your back, was conducted by Mrs. Lloyd Whytock and the prize was wonbyMrs. Alex Hackett and Mrs. Jim Hunt- er. Mrs. Vernon Hunter and Mrs. Bert Helm gave read ings. Superstitious sayings from 50 years ago were given by Mrs. Lloyd Whytock. Sports followed- - number of clothes pins in a milk bottle, children, Douglas Helm; adults, Mrs. Wilbert Hewitt; shoe race, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hunter; men's kick the slipper, Tom Helm; ladies kick the slipper, Mrs. Wilbert Hewitt; 3 legged race, Dan Robson and son David; throwing the ball, pre school, Janine Helm; school age, David Robson; adult, Dan Robson; balloon blow- ing, Mrs. Torn Helm, Free souvenirs were pas- sed around that Bill's Place, Lucknow merchant, gave the sports committee for the Heim reunion.
