PENTLAND
Mrs.. Allan (Winifred)
Pentland of North Bay,
passed away on Sunday, July
2. She is survived by ,her
husband, two "children and
two grandchildren and one
sister, Miss Frances Arm-
strong of Goderich.
Obituary
MRS. MARY G.'KEITH
Mary G. Keith of Teeswat-
er, died June 29, 1978,,after
a lengthy illness in Wingham
and District Hospital.
The former Mary Stobo
was born January 13, 1898 at
Springfield Farm, Culross, a
daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. S. D. A. A. Stobo. In
1918, after a short teaching
career, she .married Duncan
Keith and they farmed on the
4th and 6th concessions of
Culross Township. For the
past 3 years she resided at
Parkview Lodge in Teeswat-
er.
She was a faithful member
of Knox Presbyterian
Church, the Women's Mis-
sionary Society, the Wom-
en's Institute and the Senior
Citizens. Mrs. Keith was
always willing to give of her
time and talents to all who
knew her.
Mrs. Keith is survived by
her children Marion, (Mrs.
John Reid), of Chesley,
Irene, (Mrs. .Neil McAllist-
er), of Chesley, Malcolm of
Unionville, Evan of Lucknow,
Mirdred, (Mrs. Austin Lor-
ee), of Lucknow, • David of
Teeswater, Robert of Scar-
borough and Muriel, (Mrs.
Mac Sewers), of Minesing.
She is also survived by 27
grandchildren, 6 great
grandchildren, 1 sister,
Frances, (Mrs. James
Wraith), of Lucknow and 1
brother, Gordon Stobo, of
Teeswater. She was prede-
ceased by her husband,
Duncan, (1961), her . sister,
Elizabeth, and her brother,
Robert.
The funeral service was
held Saturday, July 1, at
$nox Presbyterian Church in
Teeswater and conducted by
Rev. G. Thompson. Inter-
ment was in Teeswater
Cemetery. The large number
attending testified to the
esteem in which she was
held.
Pallbearers were Donald
Stobo, Bruce Keith, Murray
Henderson, Ken Donaldson,
Donald Green and Eimer
Scott.
Flower bearers were six
granddaughters, Madelyn
Sewers, Joyce Sewers, Barb-
ara Loree, Shirley Loree,
Gayle McAllister and Dianne
Keith. Many floral tributes,
donations to charity, and
other expressions of love and
sympathy were received.
