Whitechurch Women's In- stitute bus trip was held last Wednesday to the Museum at Milton, Guelph shopping r centre and to the Ponderosa for supper. Those on the trip from the locality were Mrs. Bill Evans, Mrs. Agnes Farrier, Mrs. Bill Rintoul, Mrs. John Gaunt, Mrs. John de Boer, Mrs. Bob Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin; Dave Gibb, Albert Coultes, Mrs. Walter Elliott, Mrs. Archie Purdon, Mrs. George Webster, Mrs. Velma Fal- coner, Mrs. Joe King, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Currie, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Pewtress. Other Institute members were from Wingham and area. Dr. H. W. Mrs. Gertrude Moore of Walkerton and her twin sister, Mrs. Grace Marshall, of Kingston were visitors on Tuesday last with Mr. and Mrs, Walter Moore. Mr. and Mrs. George Fox of Edmonton visited Satur- day and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson and on the first of the week with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin. Mrs. Fox was born on the farm previously owned by the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Richard- son and family of Langside and left for the West around six years of age. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Taylor. Mr. and , Mrs. rs. Harvey Osborne, Bethany, Anna and Laura visited on Thursday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Osborne of Markdale and on Friday and Saturday visited with her sister, Mrs. G. Hood, Mr. Hood and family of Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wilson of West Wawanosh were Sunday evening visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rintoul on the arrival at Wingham and District Hospital on Friday, June 9th of a baby boy. A first grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Joe Corey of Clinton and a first grandson for Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Rintoul. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Osborne, Bethany, Anna and Laura on Saturday attended the wedding of Helen Jack and Robert Smith (a class mate of Harvey's) at Knox College Chapel. The recep- tion was held at Knox dining room. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Evans of London visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans and with her mother, Mrs. Bob Donaldson, who had broken her hip at Brucelea Haven and is now a patient at Walkerton Hospital. Mrs. Dave Oberholtzer, Jeffery and Julie, of Water loo, are visiting for a few - days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul, while her husband, Dave Oberholt- zer, is on a fishing trip. On Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul attend- ed the 4Oth wedding anniver- sary at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Cameron, Ash- field, for his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cameron. Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul were Mrs. John Rintoul, Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lee and Linda, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Wittick, Lee, Dana and Leslie, all of Burlington. All attended the 40thanniver- sary for Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cameron on Saturday even- ing. Steven Rintoul; son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Rintoul, on Sunday celebrated his 6th birthday with a party.
