out of three at the local greens on
Tuesday, la their first scheduled en -
&Miller in the Prevtttetai -town Bow-
ling Association matches. The games
were with St. Marys bowlers. The
three games were singles, doubles and
rinks.
Albert Taylor, representing the God-
erich club In the singles match, easily
defeated J. G. Davis, of St. Marys.
The first to score 21 la counted the
winner In singles. Mr. Taylor won
21-4 in thirteen ends.
E. J. i'rtdham and G. Matheson of
Goderich also won handily in their
doubles game against R. M. North -
grave and W. A. Andrew, defeating
the 84. Marys pair 207. in doubles,
as In rink play, 21 ends are a game,
but any number of end* may be lilted.
The Goderich pair killed a total of
ten ends, playing Ihlrtyone ends for
theft win.
In the rink play the Ooderich quar-
tette lost to St Marys by one point.
The locals were leading by one et the
nineteenth end, but St. Marys scored
one at the twentieth to tie the score
and went ahead to win by one at the
twenty-first.
